A Pregnancy Seminar Series by Jaco Rehab

Join our Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy team for an all-new pregnancy seminar series at Jaco Rehab. Created by moms and PT’s who built the resources we wish we had!  This series is designed to support you through every stage of your pregnancy and beyond. Join us for 1, 2 or ALL 5 weeks of this one-of-a kind seminar series.

Location: Hale Pawa’a Medical Building (exact location details provided upon registration)

Cost: $40 per class, or $175 for all 5 classes

WEEK 1   – Meet Your Pelvic Floor

Learn about pelvic floor basics and its connection to bladder, stability, and overall movement during pregnancy. We’ll break down what’s normal, how to balance mobility and strength, and when added support, like bracing, can help you feel your best.

WEEK 2 – Strong Foundations: The Pregnancy Movement Guide

Learn how to stay active safely during pregnancy with guidance on body mechanics, and smart movement strategies tailored to each stage. We’ll cover practical tips for daily activities, sleep, and exercise, so you can move with confidence through every phase.

WEEK 3 – Fueling Motherhood: Nutrition for 2

Learn how to support your pregnancy with the best strategies for balanced nutrition. Learn the fundamentals of balancing hydration, protein, fiber, and healthy fats throughout the day to keep your energy steady and your pelvic health supported.

WEEK 4- Labor Ready: Labor Prep, Positions, Breathing 

Learn how to work with your body during labor by understanding when to relax versus push, how to use effective breathing strategies, and what to do through contractions. We’ll also explore supportive labor positions beyond lying on your back to help optimize comfort and progress.

WEEK 5 – Post-Partum Power: What to Expect in the 4th Trimester

Navigate the fourth trimester with confidence as we break down healing timelines after vaginal and C-section deliveries, when to start pelvic floor PT, and how to support your body with optimal breastfeeding positions. We’ll also cover diastasis recti, how to recognize it and what to do to safely rebuild your core and strength postpartum.
